CLAY PIPE BOWL

On bowl: 'BEN-NEVIS/ CUTTY'.
Found on the site of the Perth Terminal (old locomotive depot) when a bore was being sunk for water. Drilling had reached 200 feet when this bowl was brought up in rubble. The bore is sunk into the bed of a stream which apparently ran in the area some time before the buildings of the railway and locomotive sheds.
