HAND BASIN, Improvised
H1997.99
Wash basin made from the back axle, brake drum and differential casing of a Model T-Ford. The pedestal (car axle) is painted green. The bowl is cylindrical and is made from clay (from the creek on Horace Tillman's block). Water was discharged out of a channel cut into the floor to the outside. Plug was a piece of rubber inner tube.
