CAPE, Spring Wrap

CH1979.192

Black, almost circular cape. Stiff, stand-up collar surmounted by ribbon which extends to form ties at the front. Black cotton lining covered with braid decorating open-style cotton net and followed by black lace layer and edged with polished cotton gathered and crimped. Sequins on braid decoration swirls, 3/4 way down cotton net, along top edge of black lace and in a wavy line just above lower edge of black lace. Part hand part machine sewn. Hook and eye at neck front.
