DARNING SAMPLER
CH1979.39
Hemmed with drawn thread edging. Divided by tacking into 8 squares, each with a different sample of darning in various patterns. Top 2nd left forms diamonds, 3rd forms 'V's. Bottom far right possibly swiss darning used to mend stockings.
