Coarse open weave linen with alphabet in upper and lower case lettering and numbers 1-10.'Lord save me for thy glorious name/ And in thy strength apear (sic)/ To judge my cause acept (sic) my Prayer/ And to my cause give ear' 'Ann/Scales/Aged 22/1821/ Lord at they Foot ashamadily (Sic) upwards I dare not look/ Pardon my sin's before i dy (Sic) and blot them from thy book'. Hand hemmed. Worked in cross stitch.
