a) Oblong section of plain tapestry stitches. Diagonal coloured design; brown, pink, black.
b) Strips of embroidery in triangular pattern formed by interlocking long stitches. Pink and red, on green.
c) Hessian, edges roughly oversewn with unfinished section of filling (satin stitch?) edged in cross-stitch.
