Worked in cross-stitch in coloured silks on linen canvas. Rows of letters/ letters & numbers/ letters in lower case/ letters in upper case and curly script/ 'R.B.' by house, church and flying angels (?), with dog and flowering tree./ 'Rebecca Brearleys Work 1836'.
Predominantly red, blue, green, pink and yellow. Border of pink double cross-stitch.
