(a) Black wool, lined with black satin. Dress coat. Front cut away square at front, knee length tails. Front fastens with 9 gilt buttons with a French emblem and monogram of RF. Stand up collar fastening with two metal hooks and eyes at front and embroidered with gilded metal thread. Cuffs embroidered similarly. Two inside pockets. On collar 'PAVILLON DE ROHAN/ ET SUTTON REUNIS/ 77 Faubg St Honore. PARIS.' White collar attached to coat collar with metal studs.
(b) Black wool. Straight cut legs with gold braid (metal thread) down sides. Fly fastens with black plastic buttons. Buttons around waistband for attaching braces. Two side pockets. On tab at back 'PAVILLON DE ROHAN & SUTTON/ 77, FAUBOURG SAINT HONORE/ No. 928 PIERRE MICHELIDES/ DATE 17.5.20 AGENT CONSULAIRE DE FRANCE'.
(c) Black cocked hat, bicorne shaped. Adorned with red, white and blue cockade of the Republic, and hand embroidered with gold metal thread. Edges trimmed with black feathers. In box.
