DRESSING GOWN

CH1981.28

Burgundy colour, lined with light pink synthetic silk. Main fabric of garment like a voided velvet, though has cotton ground weave with a rayon uncut pile. Two narrow bands of smocking at shouders. Very wide sleeves with large armholes, smoked at armhole and wrist. Sleeves of silk, lined with synthetic silk. Wrap-over style fastening with a button onto a tape on the inside and a button on the outside. Silk collar which extends down the front. Lower quarter of garment silk. Machine sewn.
