Clear glaze. Wide relief moulded band at edge (outer). Scalloped, gild rim. Hand painted flowers over the glaze on outer body. Others repeated inside Inner border of varying width in apricot, over the glaze wash, gilded. Gilded handle. No marks. Pattern number 2252 Nairn number C \ 42. Form of pattern number, relief moulding, and apricot wash suggest Minton. Ref. Godden. An illustrated Encyclopaedia of British Pottery and Porcelain, 1966, page 225.
