Handle moulded in low relief with scroll. Border pattern printed in under-glaze light blue inside gravy boat: alternating sailing ship (Caledonia & floral border. Light blue printed medallion on each side showing 4 men in a panelled room and caption 'GENTLEMEN'S CABIN'. Possibly used in a ship. No marks. Christie's 16 Aug. 1979 auction, lot 226 (g). Greenish glaze. Impressed on base 'OPAQUE PORCELAIN'.
