Royal blue and white transfer pattern of flowers. Marks on base impressed: "(anchor with twisted rope)" and printed in under- glaze blue: "BRITISH \ FLOWERS" Nairn no. 68. Unable to trace mark though Nairn thought it similar to "Tynside anchor mark"? No reference to any such factory in Godden.
