REPORT STAND

Retort stand. All wood. Flat rectangular base with turned wooden "Post". A wooden block slides up and down this post and is locked into the required height by a wooden thumb screw. This block extends to th4e side in the form of a hollow circle, so that a glass retort vessel can be seated in the circle. Used in the UWA School of Agriculture prior to 1950.
