-2- Pipette stands. These items are two tiered discs, perforated with various sized holes on the top disc and bottom disc. Each disc is about 18 cm in dia. and is held apart from the other by a turned wooden spacer. The discs and spacer, which look like a cotton reel can slide up and down on a smaller diameter inner shaft. These stands can accommodate pipettes and tubing of various diameter. Used in the School of Agriculture UWA prior to 1950. (a) has a label on the base marked "SUPPLIED BY / ANAX / DIVISION / ALL STATES" In a central circle, superimposed on a map of Australia is "DHA".
