TEST TUBE STAND
H1991.194
Test tube stand. Holds 12 tubes (or 24 if needed). Usual type. Flat wooden base with row of wooden dowels to place test tubes over upside down. Also row of countersunk depressions with raised wooden strip pierced by 12 holes. Each hole is directly over a depression so that a full or empty tube may be placed into the hole to stand vertically with its base secure from slipping. Used by School of Agriculture, U.W.A. prior to 1950. Marked "G.S.L." on top.
