"Federated Timber Workers Union of Australasia / Western Australia / Branch". Shape of map of Australia with engraved states & name of Union. "WA. Branch" and symbols of Union in relief stuck onto map. These include "WA / Branch" with circular saw above words WA, crossed axes, crossed broad axes above circular saw to right and left respectively, and below, from left to right, wedges, cross-cut saw, and crossed mallets. Badge originally hung, pin & safety chain added to convert it to a brooch.
