Federated Miners' Union". Three printed photographs: (1) GREAT BOULDER G.M. (2) OFFICE & HALL MINERS' UNION, including Head Office, Boulder. Double-fronted building with facade marked "EST 1896 / WORKERS HALL". Placard over door (indistinct) ".....COUNCIL ELECTIONS / LABOUR CANDIDATES / COMMITTEE ROOMS". Window sign: "GOLDFIELDS / FEDERATED MINERS' / UNION / HEAD OFFICE". (3) OFFICE OF MINERS' UNION at Fimiston. Double-fronted brick building. Facade marked "AMALGAMATED MINERS ASSOCIATION / 1901". Certificate inscribed (handwritten & printed): "This is to certify / that / MR R. P.(?) SWAINSTON / Boulder / has been / STEWARD / of the / above Union / for a period of / Seven Years / GEO. CALLANAN / President / JAS. CUNNINGHAM / Secretary / 29th Feby 1916". Title: WESTRALIAN GOLDFIELDS FEDERATED MINERS' UNION, Kalgoorlie and Boulder Branch. Centre bottom: Motto: Justice to all. Dark blue and gold.
