Gilt finished badge with black enamel. Black enamel rectangle containing text 'The John Curtin/ Foundation.', surmounted by shaded oval emamel and gilt portrait of John Curtin with gilt mount. Geometric designs underneath text and to left and right of portrait. Reverse: Twin fixing aligned sideways with 'SHERIDAN/PERTH' engraved, no pin or catch.
