"Won by/WESTERN AUSTRALIA/Time 6 min 40 secs./Coach J.Saunders/Manager B.Durston" painted in black underneath. "Str. L.Anderson/7 G.Xouras/6 P.Shakespear/5 G.Dehring/4 G.Jenner/3 G.Ward/2 W.McAullay/Bow J.Howard/Cox B.Tonkin/Emergencies P.Duckett A.Elliott". Paint worn away on back of paddle showing blue undercoat.
