[1] Body of trophy. Silver, tarnished. Double-handled round cup. Cup reads 'CENTENARY CUP AMATEUR BILLIARD CHAMPIONSHIP OF AUSTRALIA/ Presented by/ STATE CENTENARY EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE/ Adelaide, September 1936/ Won by/ R.J.P. MARSHALL'. Above text is small white and royal blue enamel emblem: 'SOUTH AUSTRALIA/ 1836/ 1936/ CENTENARY' with image of magpie in centre. Hollow curved handled from top of cup down to stem. Stem is cylindrical, tapering down to base, with one ring across middle. Base is round with four tiers.
[2] Lid. Silver, tarnished. Round with three tiers and knob at top.
[3] Plinth. Wood, painted black. Cylindrical body with two-tiered rounded base.
