CHILD'S FANCY DRESS

Child’s dress with white silk bodice and skirt, knee length, with 2x pleated under layers, full/puff elbow length sleeves & round high neckline. Covered with brightly coloured flags & badges of the possessions of the British Empire and b&w photographic portrait prints of 20 Governors of the ‘Kings Dominions Beyond the Seas’. Red/white/blue rows of ruffled ribbon to skirt hem, red/white/blue plaited ribbon to neckline, sleeve cuffs & waist, with 2x bows to the front and 1x bow to the centre back. Back seam of bodice enclosed with metal hook and eye fasteners.

Features, 20 black and white oval shaped photographic portrait prints on paper with typed name appended to each. Names of persons featured in portraits and placement on dress as follows;
