PRESENTATION TROWEL, Foundation Stone, Fremantle Trades Hall

Inscribed: "Presented to the Right Hon Sir John Forrest P.C., G.C.M.G., D.C.L., M.H.R. Federal Minister of Defence on the occasion of his laying the Foundation Stone of the Fremantle Trades Hall 26th March 1901". On the point of the blade is a crest, motto: "VIVUNTDUM VIRENT".
