Small postcard. White background with stereotypical image of black doll-featured girl in a red dress, with a red bow in her hair, sitting in the fork of a tree. Written in blue at the bottom of the page, "I'll WAIT for you, my boy, I will,/Through pleasure, pain, or tears;/And you will find me waiting/still,/If you're away for YEARS."
Back of postcard has green printed instructions, "POSTAGE/STAMP/HERE" etc. Small green letters, "Made in Gt. Britain". Card has not been written on. There is an illegible scrawl on it in purple pencil.
