'Fitzgerald's Home Physician: or The Poor Man's Doctor' by Frank Fitzgerald. Published by Smith & Son, rpint, Royal Lane, Melbourne. Red cardboard cover with 2 staples down edge. Print and border in black ink. In pencil, someone has written figures on the cover - mathematical problems. 22 pages. 1st page has black and white portrait of Frank Fitzgerald. Book contains his opinions on issues such as love, poverty, sex, ignorance and the clergy. He gives prescriptions for common ailments and explains some basic medical terms. He has written a poem on last page as a toast to all people.
