PETTICOAT
H1996.248
Short white petticoat, made from the horizontal panels. Top panel is thin white cotton, with elastic in waistband. Rest of petticoat is satin-like material, with machine embroidered cotton tulips. The bottom edges of the middle panel, and the lower panel have spiralled cord inserted in their hems. In the lower panel, there is an extra frill on the underside. Two pale pink satin loops attached at opposite sides of waist (for hanging up petticoat).
