Tan, cloth covered book lettered on spine and front cover 'The Australian Carpenter - C. Lloyd.' Inside is a sticker indicating the book was bought from 'Alberts Bookshop/ Forrest Place/ Perth.' Cost is pencilled on opposite page '159'. Contents of book include selection of tools and timber and basic techniques of carpentry. A second section is on building a timber framed house, a third covers joinery and timber and the last on drawing and setting out.
