Narrow, oblong, green-mottled book with thick cardboard cover with green cloth spine. Inner pages are lined in blue and red, as in old account books. Handwritten, in ink, 'MEASUREMENTS./AND./AVERAGE. YARDAGE./REQUIRED. OF. CLOTH./AND. TRIMMING. MATERIALS./ USED. IN THE. MANUFACTURE./OF./MALE. WEARING.APPAREL.' The instructions are in yards and inches for men's and boys' apparel; three piece suits, two piece suits, trousers, 'miner and engineer overalls', combinations,' boys nickers', overcoats. Fabrics used in the manufacture are listed, including the 'WIDTH. OF. MATERIALS. USED. IN. TRIMMINGS'
