Red, cloth covered book printed on the spine in gold 'DISEASES/ OF/ WOMEN/ EDITED BY/ COMYNS BERKELEY/ H. RUSSELL ANDREWS/ J.S FAIRBAIRN/ ARNOLD'. Inside, the same information is repeated with authorship attributed to 'TEN TEACHERS/ UNDER THE DIRECTION OF/ COMYNS BERKELY/ 1926'. The book is illustrated and contains information on organs of the pelvic region, and diseases, problems and malformations of them. There is a section on examination and instruments to use, and another on psychological ill-health in relation to pelvic disorders. Inside cover bears a stamp of the Gilbert Lawble Library, Queen's College, University of Melbourne. In ink is written on page 2 'J.N. Johnstone'.
