1. BOX, rectangular. Small display window on one side - Printing in blue ink 'Traditionally blue largers and pilseners/ using only the finest natural ingredients/ with no additives or preservatives/ MATILDA/ BAY/ BREWING CO.' In brown ink, drawing of an anchor and rope in a circle with 'ANCHOR/ BREWING CO.' printed around the drawing within a second circle. Printed in blue ink 'Perth, Western Australia.'
Other side printed in brown ink 'Traditionally brewed ales and stouts/ using only the finest ingredients/ with no additives or preservatives'. Drawing of an anchor and rope in a circle with 'ANCHOR/ BREWING CO.' printed around the drawing within a second circle. Printed in blue ink 'MATILDA/ BAY/ BREWING CO.' Printed in brown 'Fremantle, Western Australia.'
2. BOTTLE, brown glass, cylindrical body and bulged neck. Lightning-type closure, comprising a stopper of porcelain and rubber attached to a wire bail which pivots on either side of the neck under the finish. Porcelain stopper printed in black with 'MATILDA/ BAY/ BREWING CO.' BREWING CO. is printed within 2 half circles, with 2 swirls above. Raised marking on body 'MATILDA/ BAY' 2 small swirls underneath. 'MB' in an oval shape. Markings are located around the body - No = 5 times.
3. BOTTLE, brown glass, cylindrical body with tapered neck. Lightning-type closure, comprising a stopper of porcelain and rubber attached to a wire bail which pivots on either side of the neck under the finish. Porcelain stopper printed in black with 'MATILDA/ BYA/ BREWING CO.' BREWING CO. is printed within 2 half circles, with 2 swirls above.
The body of the bottle has a paper label in blue, brown and grey. Label inscribed 'MATILDA/ BAY/ BREWING CO./ DARK LARGER' (top centre). 'A premium/ larger brewed/ in the traditional/ German fashion from/ rainwater and pure natural/ ingredients. H1569.500ml' (in blue on left side). 'Handmade/ and/ naturally/ conditioned for 3/ months. No additives/ or preservatives. 6 % ALC./ VOL.' (in blue on right side). Drawing in grey of a gum tree, blackboy in foreground, with 2 masted schooner in background. Below 'BREWED IN WESTERN AUSTRALIA' (in blue). Raised commercial marks, below label '0,51 52'.
