TEACOSY, Woven

CH1973.105

Oval shape; cane; brass hinges, hasp, handles. Fremantle Museum Receipt No. 1652.
This object, while looking somewhat like a sewing basket (and perhaps it was used as one, but the accession sheet does not indicate this), has been identified by several members of the public as a woven tea cosy.
