Nakago: 20.4 cm, two mekugi ana, suriage

Hada: oitame, some masame and ayasugi
Hamon: medium suguba with notare and ko ashi
Date: 13th century
This is a tachi blade of Bizen style. The blade has been shortened by approximately 16cm but retains much of the shape and characteristics of the mid-Kamukura era.

Saya: plain wood with four seme of cane around scabbard and one of metal around scabbard mouth. Sayagaki is in English: CHINESE SWORD TAKEN AT THE SIEGE OF PEKIN 1901
