(a) Circular metal frame with hinged mount on back with hole for screw. Pieces of yellow perspex around edge (the remains of a cover across front of card). Green card in frame has large '5' in centre. Also 'IDENTIFICATION PLATES 6459/ MAKE CHANDLER/ type of attachments Tourer/ ENGINE No CH 1188/ Registered for year ending/ 30 June, 1935'.
(b) Ochre circular card to fit holder(a). White stripe down centre. Large '3' and 'IDENTIFICATION PLATES 49/ MAKE BUICK TYPE SEDAN/ Engine No. 2446262/ registered for first half-year ending/ 31 December, 1932'.
(c) as (b) except white cross in place of vertical striped, and 'registered for second half year ending/ 30 June, 1933.'
