Patented March 1881. On handle: Agent U.K. - Wilkerby & Co, 74 Cornh E.C., High Holdorn, London. Hall Typewriter Co., New York. No. 3773. In an wooden box. The type letters are arranged on a rectangular metal sheet situat underneath the selector platform. When the sylus is moved to a selected letter the appropriate type letter is brought in to the typing position. The stylus i then depressed and the type letter punched on to the paper. Method is very slow.
