A bronze 2 decimes (20 centimes) coins. The obverse features a left profile of Marianne (Personification of the French Nation) wearing a Phrygian cap with the lettering 'REPUBLIQUE FRANÇAISE' and the engraver mintmark signature '· Dupré ·' of the engraver Augustin Dupré. The reverse features the lettering 'UN CENTIME L'AN 4·' and the mintmarks 'A', 'Lady Archer' and 'Cornucopia' bordered by a wreath. The coins have a criss-cross pattern on the edge.
