[.1] enamelled badge [.2] pre-enamelled fault sample badge [.3] Pre-plated sample badge. [.1] Gilt finish and enamelled winged badge. Oval shaped central piece with white enamelled alligator motif, alligator is wearing a captains hat with badge, open jaw stretches outside of oval design. Gilt finish outstretched wings with marked segmentation on either side of central design. Black enamel rectangular banner underneath overlain by V shaped banner reading 'ALLIGATOR/ AIRWAYS'. Reverse: 'SHERIDAN/ PERTH', double brooch fixing with no pin or catch attached. [.2] Faulty sample badge. Same design and shape as [.1] Wings are bent backwards at centre edge due to rivet pressure being too hard when stamped. Metal has been plated but not polished. Reverse: 'SHERIDAN/ PERTH', safety catch brooch pin fixing with pin and catch attached. [.3] Sample pre-enamelled and pre-plated badge with same design as [.1]. Silver toned metal. Reverse: no fixing, text written in black marker pen 'TO MAKE/ WOOD DIE'.
