Rectangular brass plaque with screw holes to each corner. Obverse engraved; 'MEAGHER COURT/ THIS GARDEN COURT-YARD IS NAMED TO HONOUR/ SIR THOMAS MEAGHER, M.B.,B.S.,K.St.J./ CHAIRMAN OF TRUSTEES OF THE WESTERN AUSTRALIAN MUSEUM/ FROM 1959 TO 1975, AND A TRUSTEE FROM 1942...'. Makers mark engraved to obverse bottom edge; 'CUMPSTON-BALL'.
