CROWN, motorcycle, 'Golden Crown', Claremont Speedway, 1929-30

circular 'medieval style' crown with four fleur-de-lis and four crosses leading up to four shaped bands that meet at the top, surmounted by a gold toned metal motorcycle wheel with outspread stylised wings, fleur-de-lis decorated with red glass jewels and the crosses with diamante-type glass jewels, four bands on top have seven raised metal stars affixed to each. Engraved to centre front of band at base of crown is WA SPEEDWAYS LTD/AWARDED/TO THE RIDER WHO TOTALS MOST WINS IN/GOLD CROWN/SCRATCH RACE/SEASON 1929-30. Four riveted metal plates to left and five to right of centre engraved panel with names of winners, date and recorded race time.
