SEWING KIT, silk, H.E. Anderson

SEWING KIT:
[.1] rectangular box; Handmade, covered with floral, leafy pattern in pale blue, green and pink on the outside, pale blue silk inside. Box and lid are edged with a blue cord. The lid is closed with a loop (broken) and a clear glass (?) button. Attached to the inside is a piece of cream coloured viyella, hand stitched to the inner lid. Decorative blue thread border on three sides. Edges are cut with pinking scissors. Fastened to this are three gold-coloured safety pins. Five steel straight pins on floral cushion bed on inside of container, corner, right.

[.3] thread, white, on circular cardboard wheel disc

[.8] pins, straight, steel x5
