SERVIETTE RING, sterling silver enamelled with magpies, JC Taylor
H2013.171
Flattened, u shaped, sterling silver napkin ring, set on front with two enamelled magpies sitting back to back on a branch. Ring is open at one end. Front of ring is shorter than back, and has a circular end with delicately engraved border of lines. Metal is cut out around the magpies. Engraved border continues below the magpies, forming a V, below which the metal is smooth, and curves behind to form the back. Back of ring is smooth sterling silver, which curves outward slightly at the end. ‘JC TAYLOR STG SILVER’ stamped into inside of back.
