Small, rectangular, green design on white, paper, 10 cents Japanese bank note. Shaded green background with scroll design each side, and ‘10’ in block print in each corner. Field reads ‘THE JAPANESE GOVERNMENT/ M TEN M/ BF CENTS BF’, with Japanese text below, as part of lower border. Reverse has large, block print ‘10’ in centre, flanked with one ‘10’ in each corner. Floral shaped shaded design behind centre ‘10’ and as border, with oak leaf style scroll. Note creased, paper discoloured from age, small dirty rust? marks on reverse.
