Small, rectangular, dark green and yellow, metal, ‘WATKINS/ BRILLIANTINE/ PLUS’, tin. Ointment inside. Rounded rectangular lid, with squared edged base, green and yellow striped lid, with dark green base (with yellow panel of text on bottom of base). Text on lid reads; ‘WATKINS/ BRILLIANTINE/ PLUS/ FOR/ PARTICULAR/ PEOPLE/ COMPLIMENTARY/ PACKAGE/ WATKINS/ PERFUMER/ AUSTRALIA’. Text on base reads; ‘WATKINS/ BRILLIANTINE/ PLUS/ Gives a brilliant gloss to the hair/ and makes an excellent hair/ dressing. Use it to make the/ eyebrows and eyelashes silky. A/ splendid preparation for chapped/ hands and lips and for softening/ hands/ Also valuable as a safe/ application for minor cuts,/ bruises, burns, cradle cap and/ haemorrhoids./ THE J.R.
