large, rectangular, hand sewn kangaroo skin rug of twelve skin with very neat white cotton stitching. 'L.O. SHENTON' stencilled in black along two opposite sides. Two blackened rectangular areas at other 2 opposite sides: 'WX3418' is blackened out, the other blackened inscription is unreadable. Seventeen bullet hole patches or repairs on whole rug. some worn areas of fur near edges of several skins.
