12 inch rectangular light brown wooden ruler with a flat top and 45 degree sloping face on which the measurements are marked in inches. Has 2 rusted staple ends embedded in left end. Printed in black on flat top spanning length of ruler: 'BRENNAN BROS., Kalgoorlie and Coolgardie'. Printed in top left in small letters: 'Chandler & Co., Sydney and Melbourne'. Printed in black on back: 'The Volume of our Business enables us to Guarantee/Best Value at Lowest Prices'. Black National Trust number, '83/52', marked on back.
