EVENING DRESS

H2002.76

Bright mid-green taffeta evening dress. Sleeveless, full length, high waisted. Dress is not lined, has two zips, one at side of top section, and one at hip. Hem is lined with one layer of green tulle. Neckline is round, and leaves in fig shape consisting of green beads and sequins sewn on. In between each leaf, mixture of small and large fake white pearls sewn on. Remainder of dress is plain. Slight gather in waist and in upper section. Dress is handmade (machine stitched) with some sections of hand stitching. Two pieces of white cotton tape are sewn on inside of waist, and looped through a a green piece of cotton tape on the inisde of shoulder (green tape is detachable, affixed with metal press stud) so that sleeves don't slip off. The front inside section of skirt is lined with pale blue-green cotton fabric.
