Passport-style document, with metal staples in centre and folded in half. Grey fabric cover. Australian coat of arms on front cover. Impressed in black ink on the cover "FORM B/COMMONWEALTH OF AUSTRALIA/ALIENS ACT, 1947/CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRATION/No. 96904". Back cover has some details printed in black ink "Ration Card No. 671919//issued on 8/3/50" and illegible signature in blue. First page of certificate has personal details, physical description, birthplace, black and white photograph. Belongs to Sofia Szonyi, Hungarian, arrived on the "Anna Salen" 23 August 1949.
