DINNER MENU, fan

H2002.117

Dinner menu printed on a fan, wooden handle painted black attached to round flat fan, with two layers of cream silk fabric stretched over an outer metal ring, and trimmed with black and white binding. Engraved in silver on the handle "ROYAL INTEROCEAN LINES". Yellow, pink and white flowers painted on reverse and at sides on front. Menu printed on red on the front. "COLD BUFFET/Fruit cocktail/Port Wine/Jellied Turtle Consomme.....". The ship and date is printed at the bottom of the menu "M.V. "Maetsuycker" Saturday, 11th May 1957." Hole drilled in base of handle, with piece of orange thread looped through.
