Red postmark in right top corner, postal handstamp almost illegible except words 'London' and '2½D paid'. Brown sticker with blue printing in left top corner, 'If not delivered please return to / BRITISH CYCLES/ and/ MOTOR CYCLES/ OVERSEAS/ DORSET HOUSE, STAMFORD STREET, LONDON, S.E.1./ Proprietors: The Trader Publishing Co., Ltd.' Handwritten in red pencil on reverse of envelope 'UMPIRE/ 1899'.
