Small rectangular 'OXO' tin. Face of lid is red. Written in large white letters edged in black 'OXO/CUBES'. Small black letters 'BRAND' written below 'Oxo'. Edges and inside of lid coloured gold. Both outside long edges have 'KEEP THE LID CLOSED' written in black. Bottom half of tin is coloured gold on outside, uncoloured tin on inside. The two short edges of container have 6 'OXO' CUBES' written in black. One long edge has ' 'OXO' CUBES/ DISSOLVE AT ONCE'. The other long side has British Coat of Arms, 'OXO LIMITED' above emblem, 'BY APPOINTMENT/ TO H.H. THE KING'. Next to Coat of Arms, ' 'OXO' CUBES/ REFRESHING AND STIMULATING'.
