Embroidery and ribbonwork basket of flowers on black background, in wooden frame with gold-coloured inner frame and glass cover. Basket embroidered with gold base and handle, pale silver-blue body, pink 'bow' embroidered around body, blue 'bow' around handle, green leaves. Gathered ribbon work to form pink flowers, peach flowers and cream flowers with maroon edging. Outer edge of wooden frame engraved with scalloping and an alternating pattern of mushroom-shapes and flowers. Reverse side of frame has cardboard backing nailed on, piece of white string connected to two metal rings, for hanging and paper label, printed in black 'B. ROFFMAN,/ WHOLESALE AND RETAIL PICTURE FRAME MAKER, / 136 William Street, Perth (opp Royal Hotel).'
