CANDLESTICK, Meissen

Ornate porcelain candlestick (candelabra) with female figurine as its main feature (peasant style). It is also decorated with porcelain pink flowers and leaves; gold swirls and edging. The figure carries a basket in one hand, the other hand on her hip. She is wearing a maroon dress, blue apron, yellow scarf, pink hat and no shoes. The upper section of the candlestick slots into the main part and has four candle bowls; one being central.
